Gorgeous print patterns, strong colours and distinctive geometric lines form the basis of Jaana Parkkila’s impressive summer collection. Two of the collection’s patterns were designed by Fujiwo Ishimoto in the 1970s: Sumo, composed of broad and forceful brushstrokes, and the exuberant Kuuma. The new Moto print is the work of Marjaana Virta.
The oversize flowers of the Kuuma pattern glow in shades of orange and yellow and fuchsia; a second colouring is a dramatic combination of black and grey and white. The billowing sleeves and the generous skirts, which can be adjusted, emphasise the femininity of the garments.
